On January 11, 2012, Cravath represented the initial purchasers, Itaú BBA, J.P. Morgan Securities and Scotia Capital, in connection with the US$500 million 144A/Reg. S debt offering of Celulosa Arauco y Constitución S.A., currently Latin America’s largest forest plantation owner.
The Cravath team included partner David Mercado on corporate matters and partner Michael L. Schler on tax matters.
