On May 30, 2012, Cravath partner Christine A. Varney spoke at “A Symposium in Honor of Robert Pitofsky,” held by the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. Christine delivered the opening remarks for this program, which recognized the contributions of Robert Pitofsky, a former Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission who also served as Dean of Georgetown Law and was a professor at the Law School. Mr. Pitofsky is recognized worldwide as a leader in the fields of antitrust and consumer protection law.
