On June 13-14, 2012, two Cravath partners participated in the 11th Annual International Mergers and Acquisitions Conference, presented by the International Bar Association and held in New York City. Christine A. Varney spoke on a panel entitled “Antitrust/Competition Policy - the Present and the Future,” which discussed significant developing areas of antitrust and competition law in the M&A context. Partner Faiza J. Saeed moderated a panel entitled “Stockholder Activism Today,” which focused on the current state of stockholder activism and where it may be heading.
