On November 1, 2011, Cravath received the 2011 U.S. News & World Report-Best Lawyers “Law Firm of the Year” award in two practice areas: Mergers & Acquisitions Law and Intellectual Property Litigation. Only one law firm is honored in each practice area category and no firm may be recognized in more than two categories. Awards are given based on a combination of client survey results, feedback from peers who practice in the same area of law and an evaluation of a firm’s work during the past year.
