International Tax Review named Cravath as the winner of its North America Capital Markets Tax Transaction of the Year Award for the Firm’s work in connection with the Time Warner Inc. spin-off of Time Warner Cable Inc., which was announced in May 2008. The Cravath tax team was led by partners Stephen L. Gordon and Lauren Angelilli and included associates J. Leonard Teti II and Jonathan J. Katz. The criteria used to select the transactions that received the publication’s Americas Tax Awards included size, complexity and innovation.
