Four Decades for Justice

Cravath’s class action case against New York City and New York State over systemic deficiencies in their foster care programs was featured in various media outlets following the filing of the suit on July 8, 2015. The New York Times published an article entitled “Suit to Accuse New York City and State of Keeping Children in Foster Care Too Long” and The Wall Street Journal wrote a piece entitled “New York City’s Foster‑Care System is Mismanaged, Lawsuit Alleges.” The Cravath team on this pro bono case includes partner Julie A.
