On August 15, 2011, Cravath client ESPN entered into an agreement to settle a lawsuit that it brought against Conference USA (“C-USA”) in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. The terms of the settlement are confidential. ESPN alleged that C-USA contracted with Fox Sports Media Group for the distribution of certain sporting events in violation of certain agreements between ESPN and C-USA.
