Four Decades for Justice
On November 29, 2012, Cravath received several accolades in the annual “U.S. Innovative Lawyers” report by the Financial Times. The Firm was named among the “FT Law 25,” which ranks innovation in the legal sector based on the originality, rationale and impact of a firm’s work.
Cravath’s work in three matters ranked among the most innovative in the categories of Litigation and Corporate Law. In addition, Cravath was one of four firms to have more than one matter recognized in the Litigation category, including its representation of JPMorgan Chase in its RMBS litigation, specifically In re WaMu, and for its work on behalf of NCR. In the Corporate Law category, Cravath was ranked for its role in the Pentair merger with Tyco’s Flow Control business.
Cravath partner Daniel Slifkin was quoted in the FT report’s litigation feature entitled “Trimming Back the Class Action Monolith.”
