On June 15, 2010, IBM announced a definitive agreement to acquire Coremetrics, a privately held company based in San Mateo, California, and a leader in web analytics software. Cravath represented IBM in connection with this transaction. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2010, subject to regulatory approvals and the satisfaction of other customary closing conditions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
