Cravath represented JPMorgan in connection with $445 million of syndicated credit facilities made available in March 2010 to Digital Cinema Implementation Partners, LLC (“DCIP”), a joint venture formed by AMC Entertainment, Cinemark Holdings and Regal Entertainment Group, to finance the acquisition and deployment of digital cinema projection systems in nearly 14,000 movie theater screens across North America. Digital cinema will provide consumers with higher quality theater experiences, including 3D, and accommodate movie distribution without the costly and time-consuming production of 35mm prints.
