On September 10, 2012, Cravath partner John W. White participated in the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) Roundtable: Improving the Auditor’s Report, held in New York City. The roundtable, which included a cross-section of participants from around the world, explored a recent proposal by the IASSB to (i) expand auditors’ reports to include auditor commentary and (ii) address “going concern” issues.
