Metals USA Holdings Corp. announced an initial public offering of 11,4266,315 shares of its common stock was priced at $21.00 per share, raising $240 million of total proceeds. The underwriters were granted a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,713,947 additional common shares on a pro rata basis from stockholders at the initial public offering price. The shares began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on April 8, 2010, under the trading symbol “MUSA.” The transaction closed on April 14, 2010. Cravath represented the underwriters led by Goldman, Sachs & Co. in this transaction.
