On December 5, 2011, Cravath partner Richard Hall, Leader of the Firm's Mergers and Acquisitions practice, spoke on a webinar entitled “The UK Takeover Regime – Challenges for U.S. Bidders in the Light of the Recent Revision of the UK Takeover Code,” presented by Herbert Smith LLP, in association with Cravath. The program focused on significant changes set forth in the revised Code, which went into effect on September 19, 2011, following Kraft’s bid for Cadbury. Richard gave his perspective on the changes and their impact on U.S. bidders.
