David Greenwald is a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department. David is a general commercial litigator, whose practice over the past several years has focused on the representation of pharmaceutical companies in cases involving patent infringement, securities fraud, and antitrust law, and the representation of companies and individuals in criminal and regulatory investigations.
David was born in New York, New York. David joined Cravath in 1994. In 1997, he left Cravath to join the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Southern District of New York, Criminal Division, where he served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney. David returned to Cravath in 2000 and became a partner in 2005. David administers the Litigation Department's Continuing Legal Education program.
