Scott A. Barshay is a partner in the Firm’s Corporate Department. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, including public and private company mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, hostile takeovers, cross-border transactions, strategic minority investments and takeover and hedge fund defense strategies. Scott also advises on corporate governance, fiduciary duty and general corporate matters.
Scott was born in New York, New York. He joined Cravath in 1991 and was elected partner in 1998.
