Our London office handles the types of challenging and innovative transactions that are the hallmark of Cravath’s corporate practice. Lawyers in the London office represent non-U.S. corporate clients in a variety of capital markets transactions; SEC compliance matters; mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures; restructurings; and general corporate matters. They also represent financial institutions, primarily in capital markets transactions, and financing sources, private equity sponsors and issuers in connection with bridge loans and long-term high-yield or other public debt, as well as IPOs.
In the past two years, the London office has handled deals in Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey. For descriptions of our various international practices, please click on one of the areas highlighted on the right side of this page.
Our London lawyers practice U.S. law exclusively and work closely with the leading law firms in other jurisdictions to address our clients’ needs. Our recent work provides evidence of the importance that we and our clients place on high-quality, focused advice for their most complex and intricate transactions. One of Cravath’s litigation partners moved over to the London office in 2008, and advises European and other international clients on arbitration and U.S. litigation matters, as well as providing antitrust and other advice to the corporate lawyers in the London office on transactional matters.
Our office in London is located in the CityPoint building at One Ropemaker Street, in the financial district (the “City”), near the Moorgate tube stop.
