Practice Overview
Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganization
Bankruptcy proceedings often involve multiple, complex and interrelated litigations. Where parties-in-interest in a bankruptcy case are unable to reach agreement on issues relating to administration of the estate, the dispute must be litigated before the Bankruptcy Court, often in full-blown evidentiary proceedings. At the same time, creditors may be involved in related disputes with the debtor, with one or more of the committees or with one another that are resolved in adversary proceedings before the Bankruptcy Court.
