Kris F. Heinzelman is a partner in the Firm’s Corporate Department and is the Practice Chair for the Firm’s Securities Practice. Kris’s practice consists primarily of domestic and international corporate finance transactions, including public and private offerings of debt and equity securities. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to representing investment banking firms.
Kris was born in Monroe, Wisconsin. He joined Cravath in 1976 and became a partner in 1983. He served as head of Cravath’s Corporate Department from April 2002 to January 2009. Kris also has served as the Firm’s Corporate Recruiting Partner and the Corporate Managing Partner.
