With the solid foundation of training and support provided by our legal assistants program, these professionals provide critical support to our legal teams. Legal assistants at Cravath work directly with partners and associates, gain substantial practical experience and develop valuable organizational and professional skills. Both our
Litigation legal assistants

Corporate legal assistants
may be assigned to a specific specialty group or team within a
practice area
. The Legal Assistants Program lasts for two years. Some participants choose to stay on as career paralegals; others continue on to graduate studies, including law school, business school or other graduate programs, or to other professions.
Litigation Legal Assistants
Litigation legal assistants support lawyers in all phases of the litigation practice, from pre-complaint investigation to trial and appeal.
Corporate Legal Assistants
Corporate legal assistants work with associates and partners throughout all phases of corporate transactions.
