Antony Ryan Serves as Co‑Editor of 2019 Edition of “Getting the Deal Through: Securities Litigation”

April 8, 2019

Cravath partner Antony L. Ryan served as co‑editor of the 2019 edition of “Getting the Deal Through: Securities Litigation,” a comparative guide to securities litigation across the world’s markets. For the fifth year, he co‑authored the “Global Overview” chapter and the United States chapter, highlighting mechanisms and procedures around U.S. securities law such as the types of claims available to investors and what is required to plead the claim adequately. The chapter also highlights updates and trends from the past year, including two 2018 Supreme Court decisions involving procedural questions in securities litigation, and upcoming cases concerning loss causation, extraterritorial jurisdiction and whether cryptocurrencies are securities.
