Cravath represented the initial purchasers, led by Goldman, Sachs & Co., in connection with the US$1.25 billion 144A convertible senior debt offering of Chesapeake Energy Corporation, a petroleum and natural gas exploration and production company. The transaction closed on October 5, 2016.
