Four Decades for Justice
Cravath represented the dealer managers, led by Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Wells Fargo Securities, in connection with an exchange offer by Chesapeake Energy for certain of its outstanding senior unsecured notes. In the exchange offer, Chesapeake issued approximately $2.35 billion of new second lien notes in exchange for approximately $3.8 billion of its outstanding unsecured notes. The exchange offer expired on December 30, 2015, and the final settlement was on December 31, 2015.
