Christine Varney Speaks at GCR Live’s Antitrust Law Leaders Forum

Cravath partner Christine A. Varney participated in Global Competition Review Live’s 7th annual “Antitrust Law Leaders Forum,” held from February 2-3, 2018, in Miami, Florida. Christine spoke on a panel entitled “Rethinking Settlement in Merger Cases,” which discussed the Federal Trade Commission’s recent merger remedy study and the approach used by the Commission to evaluate its remedy orders; best practices in assessing the impact and effectiveness of a divestiture in a merger case; and lessons from recent divestiture attempts.
