GIR Names Cravath Among 2018 Leading Firms for Cross‑Border Investigations

On October 26, 2018, Global Investigations Review (GIR) selected Cravath’s investigations practice for The GIR 100, a global guide to the leading firms for corporate investigations. GIR noted the Firm’s track record for “[securing] a number of declinations for clients,” including for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Barnes and Noble, among others. GIR also highlighted the Firm’s recent successful resolutions of bribery allegations against Telia Company (in a “first‑of‑its‑kind settlement” with no monitorship requirement) and SBM Offshore (in a settlement resolving legacy bribery issues involving state‑controlled oil company Petrobras).
