LizAnn Eisen Participates in Columbia University Medical Center's Grand Rounds on the Future of Public Health

On April 28, 2017, Cravath partner LizabethAnn R. Eisen spoke on a panel as part of Columbia University Medical Center’s Grand Rounds. The panel, entitled “Immigration and Healthcare in the Current Environment,” focused on the present state of immigration law and its impact on delivery and access to healthcare, which included discussion around immigration and planning resources for patients and families; best practices for alleviating concerns of those seeking care; and how healthcare providers can identify and address limitations on access to care in the current environment. The panel was moderated by Dodi Meyer, MD, Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University Medical Center. Other panelists included David Alge, Senior Vice President, Community & Population Health at New York‑Presbyterian; Patricia S. Catapano, Associate General Counsel at Columbia University; and Elizabeta Markuci, Director, Immigration Project, at the Volunteers of Legal Service.
