Cravath represented the underwriters, led by Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank Securities, J.P. Morgan Securities, MUFG, Scotiabank and Wells Fargo Securities, in connection with the $1.5 billion registered high‑yield senior notes offering of United Rentals (North America), Inc. (“United Rentals”), the largest equipment rental company in the world at the time of the offering. Proceeds of the offering will be used to finance the acquisition of Neff Corporation by United Rentals. The transaction closed on September 22, 2017.
