Cravath represented the initial purchasers, led by J.P. Morgan Securities, in connection with the $600 million 144A/Reg. S high‑yield senior notes offering of Bruin E&P Partners, LLC, an independent exploration and production company focused on the development of oil and gas properties in North Dakota. The transaction closed on July 26, 2018.
The Cravath team included partners William V. Fogg and D. Scott Bennett and associates Jeremy S. Lerner and Ashley R. Gust on securities matters and associate Rory M. Minnis on tax matters. Summer associate Kevin Cheng also worked on securities matters.
