Cravath’s New York Office Moves to Two Manhattan West
April 4, 2017
On March 28, 2017, Global Competition Review (“GCR”) honored Cravath with its 2017 “Matter of the Year” award for representing Anheuser‑Busch InBev in clearing antitrust regulatory hurdles associated with the company’s $123 billion acquisition of SABMiller. The award recognizes a landmark matter demonstrating strategic and innovative work by teams of in‑house and external lawyers and economists, based on a vote of GCR readers. As noted by GCR, AB InBev’s acquisition of SABMiller involved a complex, coordinated global antitrust strategy, including regulatory filings in the United States, Europe and China and over 20 other jurisdictions. Cravath partner Margaret Segall D’Amico, who worked on the merger, accepted the award at GCR’s seventh annual awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.
