Aerion’s Partnership with Boeing to Accelerate Supersonic Travel

On February 5, 2019, Aerion and Boeing announced that Boeing has made a significant investment in Aerion, a company pioneering next‑generation supersonic aircraft, and will partner with Aerion to accelerate technology development and aircraft design and unlock supersonic air travel for new markets. Boeing will provide engineering, manufacturing and flight test resources, as well as strategic vertical content, to bring Aerion’s AS2 supersonic business jet to market. Cravath is representing Aerion in connection with the transaction.
