Akorn’s Issuance of Shares of Common Stock and Series A Contingent Value Rights

Cravath represented Akorn, Inc. in connection with the issuance of 6,713,905 shares of common stock and equal number of series A contingent value rights. Akorn, Inc. is a U.S.‑based manufacturer and marketer of prescription and over‑the‑counter pharmaceutical products. This issuance is in connection with a settlement agreement entered into by Akorn, Inc. and other defendants to resolve a securities class action lawsuit. The transaction closed on April 1, 2020.
