Albemarle Corporation’s $1.25 Billion Unsecured Term Loan Facilities

October 21, 2015

Cravath represented the agent, JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., in connection with the arrangement of $1.25 billion of unsecured term loan facilities made available to Albemarle Corporation, for the redemption of the outstanding 4.625% senior notes due 2020 issued by Rockwood Specialties Group, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Albemarle Corporation. The transaction closed on September 14, 2015.

The Cravath team included partner James D. Cooper and associates Jessie Chiang and Trevor C. Lynch on banking matters and associates Peter W. Rogers and Dmitry Zelik on tax matters.
