Albemarle’s $1.4 Billion Registered Common Stock Offering

Cravath represented the underwriters in connection with the $1.4 billion registered common stock offering of Albemarle Corporation, a leading global developer, manufacturer and marketer of highly engineered specialty chemicals across end markets including petroleum refining, consumer electronics, plastics/packaging, construction, automotive, lubricants, pharmaceuticals, crop protection, food safety and custom chemistry services. The shares were listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The transaction closed on February 8, 2021.
