Andy Needham Chairs, and Lauren Angelilli Speaks at, NYSBA Tax Section Meeting

On January 22, 2013, Andrew W. Needham chaired, and Lauren Angelilli spoke at, the Annual Meeting of the Tax Section of the New York State Bar Association, held in New York City. Andy delivered the annual report of the Tax Section and completed his term as chair of the Tax Section. Andy is the fifth Cravath tax partner to have chaired the Tax Section, which currently has over 2,700 members. Lauren spoke on a panel entitled “Current Topics in Corporate Tax,” which discussed, among other things, IRS positions on tax‑free spinoffs.
