Andy Needham Speaks at PLI’s 2018 Tax Planning Conference

Cravath partner Andrew W. Needham participated in “Tax Planning for Domestic & Foreign Partnerships, LLCs, Joint Ventures & Other Strategic Alliances,” a program presented by the Practising Law Institute and held May 15-17, 2018 in New York City. Andy spoke on a panel entitled “Section 704(c): Operations and Implications for Negotiating a Deal and Drafting a Partnership Agreement,” which discussed book/tax disparities and how the partnership tax rules handle these differences through the mechanics of Section 704(c) of the tax code.
