Andy Needham Speaks at REITWise 2016

On March 31, 2016, Cravath partner Andrew W. Needham participated in REITWise 2016, a Law, Accounting & Finance conference presented by NAREIT and held in Washington, D.C. Andy spoke on a panel entitled “REIT Taxes All Around Us: Tax Man,” which addressed common tax structures in M&A deals involving REITs, transfer restrictions in REIT charters and the impact of recent legislation governing the taxation of REITs and their shareholders.
