Cravath’s London Office Moves to 100 Cheapside

Cravath represented Royal Bank of Canada and Macquarie Capital (USA) Inc. in connection with the arrangement of $355 million of senior secured credit facilities made available to an affiliate of Silver Lake Partners, a global leader in technology investing, to finance its acquisition of Weld North Education LLC, a leading digital education technology company. The facilities consisted of a $300 million term loan facility and a $55 million revolving credit facility. The transaction closed on February 15, 2018.
The Cravath team included partner Michael S. Goldman and associate Matthew M. Kelly on banking matters; partner J. Leonard Teti II and associate Rebecca L. Fine on tax matters; and associate Philip F. Schreiber on executive compensation and benefits matters. Marc Bode also worked on banking matters.
