BDT’s Majority Stake in Alliance from Ontario Teachers’

On August 6, 2015, Alliance Laundry Systems, the leading, global designer and manufacturer of commercial laundry equipment, announced that BDT Capital Partners, LLC, through its investment funds, has agreed to acquire a majority interest in Alliance from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Teachers’ is expected to retain a minority interest in Alliance following the completion of the transaction. Cravath represented BDT in connection with this transaction, which is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2015. Additional terms of the deal were not disclosed.
