Cravath represented BioFuel Energy Corp. in connection with its offering of subscription rights to purchase interests in preferred stock that was automatically converted into common stock. BioFuel Energy Corp. produces and sells ethanol and its co-products, primarily wet and dry distillers grain, through its wholly owned ethanol production facilities. The transaction closed on January 28, 2011.
The Cravath team included partner Craig F. Arcella on corporate matters and partner Andrew W. Needham on tax matters.
