On November 7, 2022, Cravath partners Robert I. Townsend III and George F. Schoen were profiled in Lawdragon’s “Lawyer Limelight” series as Co‑Heads of the Firm’s Global M&A Practice. In the Q&A, Bob and George spoke about hallmarks of the M&A practice at Cravath, the recent trends impacting deal work—including shareholder activism, increased antitrust enforcement and financing challenges that have had an impact on private equity buyers in particular.
