Cravath Publishes Winter 2026 Issue of Alumni Journal
On May 21, 2009, Chemed Corporation announced that it is in receipt of a letter from MMI Investments notifying Chemed’s Board of Directors that MMI is withdrawing its slate of nominees for election to Chemed’s Board at the 2009 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. On March 16, 2009, MMI notified Chemed that it would run a proxy contest for five seats on Chemed’s Board of Directors.
The lawyers involved include partners Allen Finkelson, Thomas E. Dunn and Andrew J. Pitts and associates Justin S. Tichauer, Leigh M. Harlan and Adrian James on corporate matters and associate Kerry Halpern-Skoglund on executive compensation and benefits matters.

Cravath represented the underwriters in connection with the $2.3 billion registered senior notes, floating rate senior notes and fixed-to-floating rate senior notes offering of State Street Corporation, a provider of a broad range of financial products and services to institutional investors worldwide. The transaction closed on October 22, 2024.
