Chesapeake Energy Corporation’s High‑Yield Senior Notes Offering

Cravath represented the initial purchasers, led by Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo Securities, Deutsche Bank Securities and Citigroup, in connection with the $850 million 144A/Reg. S high‑yield senior notes offering of Chesapeake Energy Corporation, a petroleum and natural gas exploration and production company. Cravath also represented the dealer managers in connection with Chesapeake Energy Corporation’s concurrent cash tender offers. The transaction closed on October 12, 2017.
