Christine Varney and Faiza Saeed Speak at Tulane Institute

On March 8-9, 2012, Cravath partners Christine A. Varney and Faiza J. Saeed participated in the 24th Annual Tulane Corporate Institute. Christine spoke on a panel entitled “M&A in 2012,” which discussed trends in M&A, the effects of multi-jurisdictional litigation on the deal making process, transactional antitrust matters and the latest SEC developments. Faiza moderated a panel entitled “General Counsel: A View from Inside the Company,” which discussed how general counsels are advising their boards of directors in a volatile market and best practices for engaging with shareholders and regulators.
