Christine Varney Authors Article on Horizontal Merger Guidelines

Cravath partner Christine A. Varney authored an article entitled “The 2010 Horizontal Merger Guidelines: Evolution, Not Revolution,” which appeared in Volume 77, Issue 2 (2011) of the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Journal. The article discusses new additions and clarifications to the guidelines, including evidence of adverse competitive effects, mergers of competing buyers and partial acquisitions.
