Christine Varney Delivers Keynote at State of the Net Conference

On January 17, 2012, Cravath partner Christine A. Varney delivered the keynote address at the eighth annual “State of the Net Conference,” presented by the Congressional Internet Caucus Advisory Committee in Washington, D.C. Christine addressed the future of antitrust enforcement in an increasingly globalized, networked world. Among the topics discussed at the State of the Net Conference, which is the largest information technology policy conference in the United States, were key policy issues including online piracy, internet sales tax, geolocation privacy, government surveillance, smartphone patents and content licensing.
