Cigna’s Proposal from Anthem

On June 21, 2015, Cigna Corporation confirmed it received a highly conditional, non‑binding proposal from Anthem, Inc. on June 20, 2015. Cigna’s Board of Directors has carefully reviewed the proposal and has unanimously determined the proposal is inadequate and not in the best interests of Cigna’s shareholders. Cravath is representing Cigna in connection with this matter.
