ConocoPhillips’s $3 Billion Registered Debt Offering

November 12, 2014

Cravath represented the underwriters, led by RBS, BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, BNP PARIBAS, HSBC, J.P. Morgan Securities and MUFG, in connection with the US$3 billion registered debt offering of ConocoPhillips Company, guaranteed by ConocoPhillips, the world’s largest independent exploration and production company, based on proved reserves of liquids and natural gas, at the time of the offering. The transaction closed on November 12, 2014.

The Cravath team included partner Andrew J. Pitts, senior attorney G. Douglas Johnson and associate Renee A. Brutus. Derrick M. Davis also worked on this matter.
