Cravath and Kevin Orsini Receive Awards from Benchmark Litigation

On March 31, 2021, Benchmark Litigation honored Cravath and partner Kevin J. Orsini at the publication’s ninth annual U.S. awards, which were held virtually.

Cravath was awarded Benchmark Litigation’s “Trial Firm of the Year” award, which recognized the Firm’s major trial wins in the commercial and antitrust areas, and its “Impact Case of the Year” award for the Firm’s representation of Occidental in High River v. Occidental Petroleum, in which Cravath secured a trial decision that further clarified the scope of Delaware Section 220 authority.

Kevin received Benchmark Litigation’s “General Commercial Litigator of the Year” and “Trial Lawyer of the Year” awards for his work on a “diverse group of cases spanning antitrust, commercial and ‘event‑driven’ litigation.”

In his acceptance remarks, Kevin noted the “collaborative and team‑oriented culture” that allows the Firm to “succeed for [its] clients.” He thanked the Firm’s clients for the opportunity to handle their most complex and significant cases.
