Cravath Attorneys Recognized for Pro Bono Advocacy on Behalf of Veterans and Sick Children

In October 2025, three Cravath attorneys were recognized for their pro bono advocacy on behalf of New York veterans and children receiving treatment in New York City children’s hospitals.

Associate Joseph A. Marshall received a 2025 Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award from the City Bar Justice Center for his work with the organization’s Veterans Assistance Project, which provides legal representation to veterans for their claims for benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, while of counsel Jenny X. Zhang and associate Mohammed Jagana were named to Volunteers of Legal Services’ 2025 Pro Bono Dean’s List for their work with the organization’s Children’s Project, which provides legal representation to children receiving treatment in the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore and the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of NewYork‑Presbyterian.
