Cravath’s London Office Moves to 100 Cheapside
On February 3, 2009, Cravath individuals were honored at inMotion, Inc.’s 9th annual Commitment to Justice Awards held at Lincoln Center in New York. InMotion provides free legal and social services to low-income women, including recent immigrants and those suffering from domestic violence. Associates Jessica L. Selb and Lara M. Rios, and former associates Lindsay R. Goldstein and Michelle K. Parikh, received Legal Team Awards in honor of their outstanding volunteer work on inMotion cases. As a team, Jessica and Michelle successfully represented a Brooklyn mother in divorce, child custody and child support matters. Lara and Lindsay, as another team, helped a Spanish-speaking mother of five children vacate a foreign divorce agreement (signed under duress without the benefit of counsel) and obtain substantial child support. Additionally, numerous other Cravath lawyers and other employees were named to the Honor Roll, which recognizes the contribution of those who have volunteered, promoted or supported the cases and work of inMotion in various ways.
