Cravath Named a “Litigation Powerhouse” by Law360

On July 26, 2016, Cravath was named one of 50 “Litigation Powerhouses” in Law360’s inaugural ranking of the top U.S. firms for litigation. Firms were selected based on the size of their litigation teams, quality of pre‑trial, trial and appellate victories and new matters handled between March 1, 2015, and March 1, 2016. With under 200 litigators, Cravath was specially featured as one of “5 Small(er) But Mighty Litigation Shops” that made the list. The article highlighted among Cravath’s achievements the dismissal of a putative class action by student athletes against ABC and ESPN, a Second Circuit victory for IBM in South African apartheid litigation and a summary judgment dismissal of a $1 billion antitrust lawsuit for Time Inc.
